Beaghmore is an extensive prehistoric complex of stone circles, alignments and cairns spread across open moorland in County Tyrone. The low stones were uncovered beneath peat, and their repeated rings and rows create patterns that become clearer when seen across the site rather than as individual monuments.

Low viewpoints can place the stones against the surrounding Sperrin landscape, while side light reveals their shapes among grasses and heather. Mist and subdued weather suit the exposed setting particularly well, but the subtle scale rewards careful framing and the use of paths or alignments to lead through the composition.
