A remarkable prehistoric landscape on the west side of Arran containing standing stones, stone circles and burial cairns set against open moorland and distant mountains. The tall sandstone monoliths are particularly effective for silhouettes, low-angle light, monochrome photography and compositions incorporating Goat Fell on the horizon.
