Address

The Severn Bridge is a long suspension bridge whose steel deck hangs from tall towers and cables above the Severn estuary. Its streamlined steel box-girder deck was designed to reduce both weight and wind resistance, an approach that strongly influenced later long-span bridges. The crossing forms part of a linked structure spanning the Severn and Wye estuaries.
