Address

Sissinghurst Castle Garden is a sequence of intimate enclosed gardens divided by brick walls and hedges around surviving Tudor buildings and a tall central tower. Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson bought the neglected estate in 1930 and created its celebrated sequence of enclosed garden rooms, combining Nicolson's formal structure with Sackville-West's abundant planting.
