Address

Sizewell B is a coastal nuclear power station dominated by a huge white domed reactor building, turbine halls and other large-scale industrial structures. Construction began in 1988 and electricity generation started in 1995. Its reactor building is enclosed by the prominent domed containment structure, while two steam turbines convert heat from the nuclear system into electricity. The station was designed around a single PWR generating unit.
