Address

Trevose Headland combines high cliffs, open Atlantic views and a prominent lighthouse, creating a varied coastal landscape with strong natural and architectural elements. The headland's exposed position gives clear sightlines across the sea, while rocky edges, grass and irregular cliff forms provide useful foreground structure for wider compositions.

The lighthouse can be used as a focal point within the landscape or photographed more closely against the sky, while the surrounding coastline works well in changing weather and low light. Strong wind, breaking waves and heavy cloud can produce dramatic scenes, whereas calmer conditions allow more restrained studies of the cliffs, sea and repeating horizontal layers.
