Address

Waterloo Bridge is a broad, pale stone-faced road bridge carried across the Thames on a restrained sequence of shallow concrete arches. Designed by Giles Gilbert Scott, the broad reinforced-concrete bridge was built through the Second World War and opened in 1945. Its restrained sequence of shallow arches reflects Scott's deliberately simple approach to the Thames setting.
