Parallax Photographic is a Brixton based cooperative retailer dedicated to keeping film photography accessible, sustainable and community-driven. They specialise in selling film, darkroom paper, chemistry and other analogue essentials both online and in their South London store. Founded in 2016 with a commitment to fairness and transparency, the business is built around ethical relationships with customers, suppliers and partners. Their mission is to maintain a stable supply chain for traditional photographic materials, supporting the continued use of film and the wider analogue ecosystem.

The shop was created by four friends with backgrounds in photographic retail, community darkrooms and professional labs, and that experience shapes their welcoming, inclusive approach. Parallax positions itself as a place for everyone from newcomers picking up their first film camera to seasoned professionals needing reliable materials. They emphasise community support, approachable expertise and long-term sustainability, inviting people to drop in, ask questions and stay connected to the craft of film photography.
