This Southampton-based developing lab is a small, home-grown operation run by passionate film photographers with around seven years of experience in portraiture and travel. One of the founders, Hope, brings formal training with a photography degree, giving the business a blend of technical skill and creative sensitivity. They've positioned themselves as a friendly, reliable mail-order service at a time when traditional high-street labs like Boots and Snappy Snaps are disappearing, making it harder for both new and experienced film shooters to find trustworthy development options.

Their ethos centres on ease, expertise and genuine care for the sentimental value of film photography. They emphasise the artistic importance of analogue images and invite customers to trust them with their rolls, promising attentive handling helped, charmingly, by their Dachshund Daisie, who 'sniffs out imperfections'. The result is a personable, community-minded lab offering a warm, accessible alternative for anyone looking to keep shooting film and have it developed with attention and enthusiasm.
