Address

Soho is one of central London's most concentrated street-photography districts, combining theatres, restaurants, record shops, pubs and late-night venues within a compact grid of narrow streets. Soho Square provides a quieter centre, while Old Compton Street, Berwick Street and the surrounding lanes carry a continuous flow of workers, residents and visitors.

The area changes character throughout the day. Deliveries and commuters dominate the morning, afternoon light reaches selectively between the buildings, and illuminated signs, shop windows and crowds transform the streets after dark. Its density rewards walking slowly and returning to the same corners as the light and people change.
