BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir is a large traditional Hindu temple built from intricately hand-carved stone, with clustered domes, pinnacles, columns and richly ornamented interiors. Its creation followed decades of growth by London's Swaminarayan community, from early gatherings in the 1950s to temples in Islington and Neasden before the present intricately carved complex was built.
